It is a sweet story about the preparation that Nicholas and his family go through to try to make it a successful picture day at school. It is a great reminder that something that most of us take for granted, like having our picture taken, can be difficult and scary for a person on the autism spectrum. The author does a great job of explaining to her readers how Nicholas feels and how he perceives the world around him. Thank you for another creative and thought provoking book!
